Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 11, 2026

These terms govern your use of StormLens, a service provided by StormLens ("StormLens," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using StormLens, you agree to these terms.

1. What StormLens Is

StormLens compiles publicly available NOAA/NCEI weather radar data (MESH and SWDI) into documentation reports. StormLens is not a meteorological service, and our reports are not a substitute for a physical on-site inspection or a professional meteorological opinion. Reports are documentation to support your own findings, not a coverage, claims, or legal determination.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you're signing up on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel or change your plan at any time through your account's Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use StormLens to generate reports containing false, misleading, or fabricated data, or to misrepresent the source or nature of the underlying NOAA/NCEI data.

5. Data and Reports

Reports you generate are yours to use, brand, and distribute. We retain the right to store report data to provide the service (report history, verification links, etc.) as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

StormLens is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we don't warrant that radar data is free of error — it comes from public federal sources and reflects those sources' own accuracy and limitations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StormLens is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including any claim, coverage, or legal outcome influenced by a StormLens report.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of StormLens after changes means you accept the updated terms.
