Every roofer has inspected a roof with no damage and walked away. A storm alert keeps that address on your list, so when hail hits it later you can be the first one back.
How storm alerts work
- Add an address to your watchlist, or mark a door Reinspect after next storm while you canvass.
- Save the homeowner's name, phone number and notes on the pin.
- Every morning StormLens checks NOAA radar for the day before.
- When hail reached a watched address, you get an email with that address, the estimated hail size and the homeowner details, ready to call.
The hits also appear on the Storm Alerts screen in the app, with buttons to call or text the homeowner and get directions. Step back through earlier days to see older hits.
Alerts for the whole team
Each rep gets alerts for the addresses they watch. Managers get one morning email covering the whole company, so no hit gets missed when a rep is busy or out.
An alert after the storm, not a forecast
StormLens doesn't predict hail. It tells you, the morning after, which of your addresses a storm reached, using NOAA MRMS MESH radar hail-size estimates. For live warnings during a storm, use the National Weather Service.
